The 9/11 Tribute Museum opens its exhibits and programs to place greater emphasis on service, compassion and resiliency, and encourage visitors to make a positive impact in the world
Pentagon Memorial Fund President, Jim Laychak's interview with WUSA9 on the FBI's release of photos from 9/11 at the Pentagon. Jim talks about his personal connection to the Pentagon Memorial and the 9/11 Pentagon Memorial Visitor Education Center project that plans to house these photos in order to help future generations learn about the events at the Pentagon on September 11, 2001.
Secretary of Defense James Mattis visited the Pentagon Memorial today, January 23, 2017. Mr. Jim Laychak, Pentagon Memorial Fund President, provided the tour for the Secretary.

WASHINGTON — The Pentagon Memorial Fund has received a $2.5 million donation for its planned Visitor Education Center at the Pentagon Memorial from the Maryland-based Diana Davis Spencer Foundation.
It is the fund’s largest single donation to date.

Fifteen years ago, the building housing the U.S. Department of Defense came under attack. American Airlines Flight 77 was hijacked and crashed into the Pentagon, killing all 59 passengers on board the plane and 125 people working in the building.
Today, the National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial stands next to where the plane entered the building, honoring those lost on a day that forever changed America.

On Saturday, September 10, 2016 the 15th Annual Arlington Police, Fire and Sheriff 9/11 Memorial 5k will take place in Arlignton, VA at 6:00pm.
