The USS Arlington, one of three Navy vessels to be named in honor of the victims and first responders on 9/11, recently arrived at its new home port of Naval Station Norfolk. It will be formally commissioned on April 6.

Walking into the Pentagon Memorial in Washington D.C., where a hijacked American Airlines Flight 77 took the lives of 189 people on September 11, 2001, a dense quietness blankets the air. Pentagon Memorial hosting Concert honoring Veterans’ Day
LOWER CHICHESTER — Described by many in attendance as a wonderful afternoon, Sunday’s dedication of the new 9/11 memorial was both touching and reverent.
The centerpiece of the memorial, which sits in a place of prominence at the Rocco Gaspari Sr. Park on Hewes Avenue, is an 800-pound, 4-foot beam that was once part of the South Tower of the World Trade Center in New York City.
