9/11 Pentagon Memorial

Designing and building the memorial was a grassroots response by the families who lost loved ones at the Pentagon on September 11, 2001.  A design competition expressed a broad range of artistic responses to the event. The winning design has deep and timeless meaning. This exhibit will explain the meaning behind the design of the 9/11 Pentagon Memorial.
